CHANGES TO T&C'S IN LIGHT OF THE CORONAVIRUS OUTBREAK...

 

The following Coronavirus terms and conditions are a result of extensive risk assessment analysis for the ‘mobile’ hair and beauty sector.

She Said Yes Bridal Hair is adhering to government health guidelines and if announcements are made that affect our sector in the coming weeks/months then I reserve the right to change the terms below to ensure both ‘yours’ and ‘myself’ safety.

Postponements

 


You will need to provisionally check I have availability for your new wedding date ‘BEFORE’ confirming your new date, this is to ensure I'm available. If  I'm not available for a new date WHICH HASN’T BEEN CHECKED WITH ME BEFOREHAND  then ‘no refunds’ will be given. This also includes if you have paid for a trial or final balance.

  1. If you postpone your booking due to the impact of the Coronavirus, I will not charge a cancellation fee, provided you: -

  • (a) Rebook within 12 months of the date you inform me of your intention to postpone.

  • (b) Have the new wedding date within 12 months of date you rebook. This effectively gives you 2 years breathing room to change your plans.

     Any money you have paid towards the booking will be assigned to your new booking.

      2.​If you postpone your booking with me due to the impact of the Coronavirus, I will use reasonable                           endeavours to allocate a new hairstylist for your new wedding date.(this will be another independent                     hairstylist and may charge different fees to myself)

      3.If your trial is postponed due to bride/client having or being in close contact with Coronavirus, and does                not have time to re-book a new trial. Then I am happy to carry out hair service on your wedding day                      without a trial. I would work with you to carry out an in-depth consultation over the phone and email to               discuss styles and preferences. No refunds would be given in this situation.

  • If your trial is postponed due to me having or being in close contact with Coronavirus, and there is no time to rebook a new trial. Then I will carry out  hairstylist service on your wedding day without a trial. I would work with you to carry out an in-depth consultation over the phone and email to discuss styles and preferences. If trial fee had been paid then a refund would be given in this situation.

    4.Due to the increased uncertainty of wedding dates being postponed I am asking all brides to now make               their final payment at  14 days before the wedding rather than 30 days.

  • Hair trials will be carried out as close to the wedding date as possible (from 4 weeks) before your wedding date. This is in-case your wedding date is postponed to a new date and needs to be transferred to a different stylist due to my availability.

If I'm not available for a new date

WHICH HASN’T BEEN CHECKED WITH ME BEFOREHAND

then ‘no refunds’ will be given.

This also includes if you have paid for a trial or final balance.

Cancellations

You may cancel your booking with me at any time. However, If you cancel your wedding booking in full or in part with me due to the impact of the Coronavirus or any other reason you must note the following:

  • All Deposits/ Booking Fees are non refundable.

Any trial and/or final balance payments for services that have been paid for but not undertaken, a sliding scale of fees will apply.

  • Cancellations up to 14 days before the wedding/event, 100% of the trial(s)/final balance is payable.

  • Cancellations 15-28 days before the wedding/event 75% of the trial(s)/final balance is payable.

  • Cancellations 29-45 days before the wedding/event 50% of the trial(s)/final balance is payable.

  • Cancellations 46-59 days before the wedding/event 25% of the trial(s)/final balance is payable.

  • Please note if you have paid for a trial and it has been carried out this will not be refunded.

Any full or part cancellation of wedding booking that has already been postponed once due to coronavirus or any other reason:

  • 50% of the final balance will be payable (or refunded if already paid) from the date of rebooking up to 8 weeks before your new wedding date. From 8 weeks before your new date our normal cancellation terms will apply.

  • Trial payments that have not been carried out will not be payable or will be refunded if paid.

  • Trials that have been carried out are non refundable.

If I have to cancel your booking due to the impact of the Coronavirus

I will use reasonable endeavours to find a suitable replacement stylist for you. However, if this is not possible, we will refund for services that have been paid but not yet undertaken.

Deposits/Booking Fee are non-refundable. No further compensation will be offered

If you/your household are ‘affected’ by the Coronavirus within less than 14 days of your wedding booking~

If within less than 14 days of the wedding date, you/your household or any person in your wedding party and their household who has a booking with me develops any Coronavirus symptoms including: 

  • A new continuous cough

  • A high temperature

  • Loss of taste and/or sense of smell

Then please contact me immediately. It is likely that I will not be able to carry out the service for those who are affected in these circumstances, If the bride is affected the whole wedding booking would need to be cancelled or postponed.My usual cancellation terms will apply unless you postpone your wedding booking and transfer your booking to a new date.​​

  • All deposits/booking fee are non-refundable​

  • Less than 4 weeks notice – 100% Charge will apply

  • Less than 8 weeks notice – 50% Charge will apply

  • Please note if you have paid for a trial and it has been carried out this will not be refunded.

What you can expect from me

  1. I will email ‘ 14/7 days’ before trial and/or wedding to confirm whether I have had Coronavirus symptoms in the previous 14 days or has been around anyone with symptoms.
  2. I will email again ‘ 1 day’ before trial and/or wedding to confirm whether I have had Coronavirus symptoms in the previous 14 days or has been around anyone with symptoms.

  • If I present any symptoms ‘ 1 day’ before your ‘trial’, I will endeavour to re-schedule your trial to the earliest date available.

  • If I present any symptoms upto the morning of the wedding I will use reasonable endeavours to find a suitable replacement for you

         However, if this is not possible a full refund will be given to you. No further compensation with be offered.

      3.Detailed instructions will be emailed on how the bride and bridal party will take place; what they can                     expect from me and what the I expect of the bride/client(s) in preparation for their arrival. Including but             not limited to:

 ~Doorstep Disclosure Form~

 Bride/client to complete a disclosure form before entering the home/hotel room provided to you on the wedding day. This is to check that all preparations for my arrival have been taken care of, and also if anyone present in the home/hotel room has either:

  • A new continuous cough

  • A high temperature

  • Loss of taste and/or sense of smell

The disclosure form is to be signed by the bride/client and the artist(s), a photographed copy of which will be emailed to both parties. This form will cover all  She Said Yes Bridal Hair clients on the day including:

  • Anyone present in the home/hotel room on the day of the trial and wedding.

PPE

I will be wearing PPE throughout your appointment including but not limited to: visor, masks and gloves.

  • Bride/client(s) will be required to wear a face mask when having hairstyled, If the client doesn’t have a mask then one will be provided for a small fee.

  • I will be ensuring I wash hands and sanitise regularly between each client.

  • All equipment and products used to carry out your treatment will be sanitised before and after each use and in between each client with products conforming to BS EN standards. With deep cleans of all equipment at the end of each day.

  • Timings will be adjusted to allow for extra time to clean equipment/surfaces and to include clean air breaks for me when I require them.

What I require from you

  1. I will email '7-14' days’ before trial and/or wedding to confirm whether you or your bridal party has had Coronavirus symptoms in the previous 14 days or has been around anyone with symptoms.

         We ask you to also make contact with me anytime between 14 days up to your wedding day if you start                with any symptoms or have been exposed.

        If answer is ‘yes’, you will need to confirm you or your bridal party are getting a Coronavirus test                           immediately to ensure you and your wedding party are well in time for any hair styling.

  • Your artist will email again ‘1 day’ before trial and/or wedding to confirm whether you or your bridal party has had coronavirus symptoms in the previous 14 days or has been around anyone with symptoms.

    • If the bride or bridal party presents with any symptoms ‘1 day’ before your ‘trial’, I will endeavour to re-schedule your trial to the earliest date available.

    • If the bride or bridal party presents with any symptoms ‘1 day’ before
      your ‘wedding’ then I ‘carry out the service if it is a bridal party member that is not part of the same household and cancellation terms would apply for the person. If the bride is affected then we cannot carry out the service and my cancellation terms will apply.

 Wedding Morning​

  1. During your wedding booking, you will ensure that the only person in the room with me is the person who is having their hair done. No other persons may be present including friends, relations or children, this is to reduce any Coronavirus risk.

    If more than one artist/stylist is needed either from myself or another supplier they must be enabled to work at least 2 metres apart or enabled to work in a different room in the home/hotel room.

  2. Whichever room is allocated for the treatment, please ensure that the surfaces have been wiped down with anti-bacterial spray and the room clear of any unnecessary items or obstructions.

  3. Any music or TV is to be kept at a very low level, this is prevent shouting or raised voices which increase potential transmission of contaminated air-born particles.

  4. On the wedding day photographers can enter the room where I'm doing hair but they must wear a mask and stay 2 metres away at all times and for short periods.

  5. As a result I have the right to refuse to work where their safety is put at an unacceptable risk, either from an unsafe workspace or unauthorised people entering the room whilst I am performing my role. If I feel the conditions are met for an unacceptable risk to health, the client will be given the chance to rectify whilst the I waits outside, If conditions are still not acceptable then I will leave. No compensation will be offered.

If your situation isn’t covered by the above, please get in touch & I will deal with your circumstances on a case by case basis.

I reserve the right to make reasonable changes to these terms as public health and safety and business needs may require during the Coronavirus outbreak and its impact.

TRIALS

Trials take place at my home salon (Getting here)  I can also travel to you but this will have an added travel allowance fee. Trials can be paid for on the day of the trial or in advance.

  

DEPOSIT

A non refundable deposit is required of £50 to secure your date. Your deposit will be deducted from your outstanding balance.

Failure to pay this within 7 days of your enquiry sadly means your date being released.

Payment of your deposit constitutes your agreement of these Terms & Conditions.

BOOKING

Please contact me to confirm your wedding date is available BEFORE paying any deposit.

I get many enquires a  day and even tho I hold your date for 7 days, if payment is received after this time I can not confirm your date will still be available.  

PAYMENT OF FINAL BALANCE

 The final balance payable on the day of wedding by Cash or Bank Transfer the 30 days before.

 

WEDDING DAY TRAVEL EXPENSES

Please be aware a 45p per mile extra charge will be applicable if outside a 20 mile radius of Maidstone

– This will be added to your total costs.

 

CANCELLATIONS

Should for any reason you need to cancel the booking the following will apply;

Less than 4 weeks notice – 100% Charge will apply

 Less than 8 weeks notice – 50% Charge will apply

In the event of the wedding being postponed, all reasonable attempts will be made by the myself to accommodate the new booking arrangements made by the Client. However, if for any reason I am not able to accommodate the new arrangements this will be considered a cancellation and the above charges will apply.

 

ADDITIONAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Should I need to cancel your bridal hair due to illness,unforeseen circumstance beyond my control, i.e. accident/weather then I shall endeavour to locate a replacement hairstylist, who I personally recommend to cover your event. If this is not possible 100% refund will be given to you.

PHOTOS & IMAGES

If any photographs are taken by myself at the trial/or at the Wedding Day – then I reserve the right to use these images in my website gallery, Instagram or Facebook page, www.shesaidyesbridalhair.com. All photos received from Brides allows me consent to use as I see fit for business.

Data Privacy Policy

Sharing your personal data
Your personal data will be treated as strictly confidential and will only be shared for administration purposes connected with the end of tax year.
